Human consciousness HAS become maladaptive. If we don’t nurture past that weakness, it’s not good for us.
But Zapffe was only aware of 20% of what humans are,
apparently.
Humans CAN get past this stage, if they want… but I don’t
see many people wanting.
Now he was correct that we ARE using our pain-self module
far too much (the consciousness rational mind).
Our true selves, our creative and loving selves are largely
forbidden by culture.
