Lessons Learned!
We had the most amazing group of people in the class ever — most of them truly exceptional; PhD’s,
Engineers, Artists and so many people, young in age to ‘retirement’ age.
Some were more hardcore rationalist and reductionist, and some were professionls, creatives and expert inituitives.
And most of the students were a mixture of those qualities combined! And experiencers on top of that.
But far beyond that, the warmth and pure love that we all shared together was the TRUE MIRACLE.
Oh sure, we did a modern form of an ancient ritual named “The Opening of the Ways”, influenced by
Imablichus the Neoplatonic, but thoroughly modernized into a MetaTheurgy practice as part of
Platonic Surrealism. A practice which honors all aspects and potentials of the human condition.
We even had a Black Triangle UFO show up, before most of us were out of bed… it appeared
at the Hot Sprintgs, th truly ‘hot spot’ at Esalen! I had invited our visitor three days before
our workshop, and I was glad to see that it was waiting for us bright and early, without any
‘UFO wrangling being required.”
Just like the participarns, it was a gift of love to be together with us.
(Note: nobody shot at it, or tried to steal technology from it)
Imagine that. Don’t shoot at someone, and you get a much more considerate treatment.
Go figure.
