How to Download and Read Content from our website
1. 📧 Send to Kindle: Wireless Delivery
This method sends the PDF to your Amazon cloud library, where it can be downloaded by any registered Kindle device or app.
A. How to Find Your Kindle Email Address
You must use a computer or a web browser on your device to find this address.
- Log In to Amazon: Go to the Amazon website for your region and log into your account.
- Navigate to Devices: Go to “Account & Lists” $\rightarrow$ “Manage Your Content and Devices.”
- Find Preferences: Click the “Preferences” tab.
- Open Document Settings: Scroll down and click on “Personal Document Settings.”
- Find the Email: Under “Send-to-Kindle E-Mail Settings,” you will see a unique email address for each registered Kindle device or app (e.g., yourname_42@kindle.com).
- Crucial Step: Approve Sender: Below the email settings, find the “Approved Personal Document E-mail List.” Ensure the email address you plan to send the file from is on this list. If it’s not, click “Add a new approved e-mail address.”
B. How to Create a Collection (Folder) on Kindle
Organize your documents by creating a dedicated folder on your Kindle Paperwhite.
- From the Home Screen, tap the Menu icon ($\vdots$ or $\equiv$) in the upper-right corner.
- Select “Create New Collection.”
- Type a name (e.g., “[Your Website Name] Documents”) and tap “OK.”
- When prompted, check the boxes next to the PDF files you just sent to add them to your new collection.
2. 📱 Read Offline on Mobile Devices
If you do not have a Kindle or plan to be completely offline, you can download the PDF and use a simple, free reader app.
A. Downloading the PDF to Your Device
- Tap the Link: On our download page, tap and hold the PDF link.
- Select Download: Choose the option “Download link,” “Download file,” or “Save Link As.”
- Find the File: The file will be saved to your device’s default Downloads folder, which you can access via your Files app (Android) or Files app (Apple/iOS).
B. Recommended Free, Offline PDF Readers
These apps require no internet connection to view files already saved on your device and have no ads or accounts.
| Platform | Recommended App (Free, Offline) | How to Use |
| Android Phone/Tablet | MuPDF Viewer | Search for “MuPDF viewer” in the Google Play Store. It is a very fast, minimalist app that focuses purely on reading documents. |
| Apple iPhone/iPad | Apple Books | This app is pre-installed on your device. Once you download the PDF, find it in your Files app, tap it, and choose “Share” or “Open In…” and select “Books” to add it to your reading library. |
To Read the PDF: Open the recommended app, and use its menu or file browser to navigate to your device’s Downloads folder and open the file

Kevin’s Opener
I am not here today to push some system on you, but to share tools with you that get the job done,
without the millenia of cultural cruft and overlays that hide the basic facts. You can take much of
the material and run with it, hack it up and use a little of it, or disregard it nearly entirely, but I do
hope that you enjoy the movie and the popcorn that I am providing.
I am also here, if possible, to make my student Jeffrey J. Kripal blush from time to time, and if possible to
shoot streams of beverage from his nose.
Yes, you heard me right, Somehow this crazy world has made me Jeff’s spiritual teacher.
It had to happen to someone I guess.
