Here’s what Meta.AI says about objectivity:

Objectivity refers to the state of being unbiased, impartial, and uninfluenced by personal opinions, emotions, or prejudices. It involves observing, recording, and analyzing information without distorting it through individual perspectives or agendas.

In essence, objectivity strives to present a neutral, factual, and accurate representation of reality, untainted by subjective interpretations or influences.

Key characteristics of objectivity include:

  1. Neutrality: Avoiding taking sides or promoting a particular point of view.
  2. Impartiality: Treating all information and perspectives equally, without favoritism or discrimination.
  3. Factuality: Focusing on verifiable evidence and data, rather than personal opinions or assumptions.
  4. Transparency: Clearly disclosing sources, methods, and potential biases to ensure accountability.

Objectivity is essential in various fields, such as:

  1. Science: Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of scientific findings.
  2. Journalism: Providing unbiased reporting and news coverage.
  3. Research: Maintaining the integrity and validity of research studies.
  4. Decision-making: Making informed, data-driven decisions, free from personal biases.

While complete objectivity may be unattainable, striving for it is crucial in many areas of life to promote fairness, accuracy, and trustworthiness.”

Commentary

Objectivity only works if dualism exists, as you need a non-changing background to contrast/compare with, that is free from ‘beings’.

But since dualism does not exist, and only one beings exists, then a-priori objectivity cannot exist.

In such a world, where only one being exists, due to tautological consistency, then only subjectivity can exist.

Now, there can be temporary islands of apparent ‘dualism’, such as the world in which we live.

But this ‘apparent dualism’ (the apparent external and consistent ‘objective’ reality) is simply internally well-organized
subjectivity, where the subjectivity does not allow itself to overly influence ‘it’s alters’ (reality has multiple personality
disorder so to speak, as Bernardo Kastrup would say).

This ‘truth’ was instantly obvious to me, in the first instant that I started to recall Platonic Surrealism again.
