Well, it’s fascinating to me, that in Germanic folklore, like the Norman and Saxon precursors, the ‘Fae folk’ were ‘the little people’, while in Celtic traditions, they were of average size.
Also, in the Celtic traditions, the ‘royalty’ of the Fae was up to 14 feet tall!
Now this crossover between Fae and modern UFO folklore does not surprise me at all, and I’m not saying here that ‘UFOs are Faeries’, that episode of the X-files aside,
But the deeper meaning is Anne Strieber’s powerful intuitive comment, that ‘this has something to do with the ‘land of the dead’.
Now in my own observations (with inner sight) I note that ‘faeries’ are evolved intelligences that spring from the decaying death husks of human beings. And since the ‘land of the dead’ encompasses all human cultures, And presumably all other cultures, there should be no surprise if there is a ‘conceptual battle’ going on, where human expectations battle each other in the land of the dead (as the Fae grow from the remnants of human consciousness).
It’s also correct to say that even modern UFOlogical folklore forms are starting to infiltrate the land of the dead, as when people who believe in ‘UFOs’ die, their consciousness seeds these new forms.
Now while the human detritus is an influence, it’s rather like the ‘unconscious mind’ of the Fae cultures not the dominant foreground mind, at least for the more individuated Fae and just the more instinctive ones.
People always say that the ‘phenomenon’ cannot be understood. Poppy cock. But I’m certainly mindful that there are many ‘factions’ in the land of the dead, just like in the land of the living.
Now these are all just transitory dreams, nothing to get too worked up about, but as Jeff would say,
“It’s fun!”
It is fun.
This also exposes a very important principle in ‘reality’. That is, one species or type of ‘consciousness’ Is often the unconscious mind feeding a more ‘conscious mind, who then is the unconscious mind of a more ‘conscious’ form of life.
This is the thing that arrogant humans miss most of all.
We are the UNCONSCIOUS MIND, in part, of something greater than us.
When one of us does something fun/exciting for a moment, something greater than us notices us for a moment.
It’s always ‘colorful humans’ who can ‘summon UFOs’ for example. At the end of the day, if you want
to have fun, to participate in the larger life, don’t be boring.
