I would just like to give an example of the question at time index: 46:46. Just imagine that an amoeba came up to you and tried to boss you around, that it wanted you to jump up and down and yodel for it. That this was vitally important. Now imagine a transtemporal resplendent reality watching you try to ‘catch it in a cosmic butterfly net’ by guessing a Zener card correctly for the 200th time to try to get some 4 sigma test result (99.99% confidence). It won’t work. Most of human life is JUST NOT THAT INTERESTING on a vast scale. Humans are still relatively boring.
Both the ‘suggestions of physics’ and thought itself are epiphenomenon of a higher order implicate order that isn’t all that amused by ‘stupid pet tricks’. The Catholic saints of old who ‘flew’ spent hours per day torturing themselves to ‘get the attention of the divine’ so to speak. (ref: “They Flew” by Carlos M. N. Eire). Autistics can also do better, due to their obsessiveness. Until these sort of factors are taken into account, there will be limited success with cattle-prodding transcendence to do stupid pet tricks on command.
Another metaphor here is of a married couple. They are as ONE. One day, the husband walks up and says, “We need to test our relationship scientifically, to six sigma, or I will stop believing in us.” Now THAT wouldn’t go over well. Now add on the wrinkle, that one of the partners is transcendent and mostly timeless, and the other is small-minded and impatient.
All this said, I understand the human tendency to be impatient.
Finally, I’d like to point out that we are in an unequal relationship here, so humans need to step up their game.
And in closing, on this topic, sometimes ‘transcendence’ just wants to come here to eat blueberries. My beloved wife
watched a video recently, of ‘bigfoot’ happily munching on wild blueberries, and when a human approached, it shyly
faded away. Humans might want ‘disclosure’, but the ‘phenomenon’ might just be coming here for the produce
(like in the movie ‘K-Pax’).
Totally serious here. (with a twinkle in my eye)
We are so lucky these warriors of the future are on our side!
Love and Hugs to both,
Kevin Cann
