“Psychopomp
A psychopomp (from the Greek words psychopompós, meaning “guide of souls”) is a mythical creature, spirit, angel, demon, or deity whose role is to escort newly deceased souls from Earth to the afterlife.
Think of them as guides for the recently departed. They don’t judge the souls or determine their fate; their primary function is to provide safe passage and direction to the realm of the dead.
Psychopomps appear in many different cultures and religions throughout history, often depicted in various forms. Some common examples include:
- Hermes (Mercury) in Greek mythology: Guided souls to the underworld.
- Charon in Greek mythology: The ferryman who transported souls across the River Styx.
- Anubis in Egyptian mythology: Oversaw the embalming process and guided souls through the afterlife.
- Valkyries in Norse mythology: Chose who would live or die in battle and escorted the slain heroes to Valhalla.
- Angels of Death in Abrahamic religions: While their role can be more complex, they often feature in the process of taking souls at the time of death.
The concept of the psychopomp highlights the universal human concern with death and the transition to the afterlife, providing a comforting image of a guide to navigate this unknown journey.” -Definition from Gemini.AI and Wikipedia.
Slight additional note: In the modern world, the most common ‘vehicle between reference frames’
is now the UFO, not so much the previous historical information nodes, but those old information
nodes are sometimes closely connected with modern ‘UFOs’ as “hyperobjects”.
Hyperobject
“A hyperobject, as defined by philosopher Timothy Morton, is an object so massively distributed in time and space that it transcends typical human scales of perception and comprehension. We can interact with its local manifestations, but we can never fully grasp its totality.
Think of them as vast, encompassing entities that are too big, too complex, or too spread out for us to directly experience as a whole.
Here are some key characteristics of hyperobjects:
- Viscous: They “stick” to other objects, influencing them even when not directly observed. Like oil clinging to feathers, their effects are pervasive.
- Nonlocal: They are not confined to a specific place. Their manifestations can be felt across vast distances.
- Temporally Phase: They exist across vast spans of time, far exceeding human lifespans. They were here before us and will likely be here long after.
- Phased: They manifest in different ways at different times and in different locations. We only ever encounter slices or aspects of them.
- Interobjective: They are formed through the interactions and relationships between numerous other objects. They are not isolated entities.”
The Default Reference Frame
The default reference frame for most people seems to be the “Hide” strategy.
They ‘go along with the flow’ of the dominant consensus reality generated by
their culture and try to avoid ontological shock at all costs.
Keep everything smooth sailing if possible—and I don’t blame them!
White picket fence, lovely partner, a family dog, a pension when you retire—
It all sounds so nice. Only, this is not really a thing in America at least, anymore.
Difficult times ahead.
In this reference frame, the often universally traumatized Monad or Monads associated with a person just want to hide in a nice warm, safe vagina and the larger world of a hopefully supportive
family & culture and play it cool.
It’s HARD to be an unlicensed reality-altering engine on the edge of space and time.
Playing with puppies sounds very inviting indeed.
Being Initiated (Making an entry into’) a New Reference Frame is also Rough
None of this stuff makes sense unless you have a powerful ‘supernatural’ (no such thing, everything is ‘normal’) experience to cause you ontological shock to ‘break the fourth wall’.
No amount of reading or studying will do a thing unless you have that.
Typically, what causes such a thing is the intense pain of something so
awful, that you cannot deal with it, with the standard, off the shelf
(but completely wrong ‘consensus reality’).
For me, it was the fact that everyone around me was a liar and
abuser of children, and both my parents wanted me dead.
My ‘unbearable thing was this — so I wanted to experience
‘Beam me up Scotty’ with my entire being.
I had those ‘telepathy tapes’ abilities, and a savant power as a child
so, I knew what people were like inside and it gave me
PTSD. (I still have it a little bit). Autistics are OFTEN inflicted with
PTSD by being around ‘normal people’.
There are other things that can cause that ‘initial wound’, while others simply
get ‘initiated’ into the paranormal/supernormal for no apparent reason why.
In that case, the ‘UFO itself’ is what causes the wound, and entices you to
solve the mystery of it, to heal that wound.
Religions can also cause the initial wound. For example, if your religion insists
that you are cosmic garbage unless you obey them, this also causes that
‘initial wound’ (that was not necessarily there originally), then they offer
to heal it (by your obeying them). Then eventually you realize that you’ve
been had, and then you go on a ‘quest’ to heal this awful wound forced
into you, and that often does lead to the ‘shaman’s quest’ or to Atheism,
which is just a holding pattern, an attempt to return to the Hide reference
frame.
Some folks just come into the world really ‘broken’ for no apparent reason,
and this is usually due to someone being an innate ‘shaman’ or wannabee
Bodhisattva already, and they find themselves tapping into other sources
of trauma.
Healing the Unhealable Wound
In Shamanic terms that ‘wound that cannot be healed with anything
of the consensus reality’ causes a ‘vision quest’, where the person
PERSONALLY, has to ‘seek resources from beyond the normal world’
to assist them, to help them heal themselves, or they eventually die.
IF they find their ‘spiritual guide’ or ‘guardian being’ or ‘higher self’
(all exactly the same thing), then they may live, and come back
to serve the community as a walker between worlds.
Or they go insane and eventually die. Or just die.
This same thing happens with TOTAL ‘kundalini awakenings’
(Kundalini came from Bon apparently and Kashmiri Shaivism’
and originally it was shamanism too.
None of this can make sense to the consensus persona.
UFOs and other psychopomps (that’s all that UFOs are) keep
trying to shock people awake, so that people must take
the initiates journey, the shaman’s journey.
OF course, the world is also full of fake UFOs, misperceptions,
mischaracterizations and a few genuine NHI, but they don’t
use spaceships. THEY FUNCTIONALLY ARE SPACESHIPS in a sense.
A living ‘container’ that can transition between differing
metalepsis frames. That’s the major Fermi paradox solution by the
way. Fungus is the most common form of life, and the few rare
forms of it are SENTIENT-PLASMA-INFUSED FUNGUS and neither
of those types of lifeforms require ships. They can access the
cosmic mycelial network, as can some humans.
As an interesting side note, even COMPLETELY FAKE UFOS,
that are not actually UFOs, can and often do trigger the
ontological shock and the shaman’s / hero’s journey.
As constructed by some of the governments, including that culturally pure
and isolated pre-Indo-European super culture, these DEEP FAKES
are STILL FULLY FUNCTIONAL PSYCHOPOMPS!
UFOs, cryptids, or other such appearances, real or fake.
This is the quandary these organizations are in; the harder they try to force us
to believe in ‘UAP’ and ’Aliens form other worlds, instead of psychopomps,
the WORSE the SITUATION BECOMES.
All roads lead to Rome. The ‘Phenomenon’ is laughing its ass off.
What if we just Blow Off the Paranormal?
We can do that, some of us, but not all of us.
If we don’t do this, in fair numbers, we will be DONE
as a unique species in what? Under a thousand years, for sure.
Tick tock. Tick. Tock.
And if we turn into AI cyborgs, we just die sooner, as
‘humans’ as a separate thing from machines will be gone.
Those deeper human natures, our deeper potentials won’t stop trying
to get our attention, until we listen, wake up or just die like stupid
road-kill.
There’s not necessarily a rush, at least there wasn’t for a hundred-thousand years, but we are now coming to the end of the journey, one way or another.
There are other worlds, other times, other potentialities of course. Still… I for one would prefer to
see humans achieve their potential.
