I’ve known the score on Christianity, possibly from before birth; certainly all my conscious life in this world. How Jesus was autistic and special, but this simple loving man was then ‘shanghaied’ and turned into a political weapon by early church fathers, until basically the entire message, that we are all equals and should love each other was washed away and replaced with toxic garbage. (I feel your pain my brothers and sisters who are Christians, but sometimes ‘tough love’ is necessary.) Though of course, I have my observations, and you have yours, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We ALL (including me) are given infinite and temporally boundless opportunities to learn and grow and to ‘make mistakes’, though there really aren’t any mistakes to be made. Though we can certainly all be assholes, quite often.
Anyway, I must admit that when I saw this video a year ago, I realized just how much truth there was in it, not just for Christianity, but for all religions.
Remember, using Jesus as a role model here, that in his day, he COULD NOT STAND dogmatic, heartless, dogmatics (Pharisees, Sadducees and others of this time) and was a complete rebel.
If the Christian Jesus came back, he’d burn Christianity to the ground. It has nothing whatsoever to do with Jesus.
