Reaction: The Laws of Physics are Just Habits

People I know and respect have known this for years.

This video discusses how the ‘immutable laws of physics’ are probably changing with time, and the ramifications
of this (implied but not stated) on the ‘many worlds dodge’ to avoid ‘fine tuning’.

Now ‘many worlds’ is not perceived as ontologically efficient (energy efficient either), but if we just happen to exist
at this moment, because the ‘constants of nature’ just happen to be accidentally drifting to a range that allows life,
then you don’t have to postulate all those ‘messy universes’ in order to ‘assassinate god’.

All very ugly the desired metaphysics behind all this, but it’s good research.

Now of course Platonic Surrealism doesn’t bother with any of this romper room speculation, on either
the atheistic or theistic sides,

but is still a ‘good college try’ when science attempts to learn more about the most immanent layer of
disinformation around us:

‘the physical world’.

Now are the constants constantly shifting? Yes.

And since we are in an open universe, not a closed one, in fact the constants are constantly changing EVERWHERE, and EVERYWHEN.

It’s called ‘life you know’.

It’s vibrantly alive.

Not just some ‘dead constant’.
