This stage of the mystic path (when the unconscious becomes conscious)
is the most difficult of them all.

Platonic Surrealism doesn’t use precisely the same language, but this video
describes it well enough, and it is basically just Jung. A lot of Jung out there
these days, and that’s a good thing.

It’s the ‘post awakening’, on the verge of individuating phase
that’s so difficult. You burn down what came before, you
do the Zen thing, the emptiness thing, you peel the onion.

You Do what PKD did, then fail the next step.

It’s brutal.

Our culture has no system for it, and hates it anyway
as it leads to becoming your truest self, a true
individual, not just a meat puppet to make
someone else richer, more powerful.

Religions are terrified of this stage; it’s when they lose
you forever. They desperately try to claw you back in.

If you are a Gnostic, this is when the ‘demiurge’ loses
you, though the ‘demiurge’ rejoices when you finally
remember who you are, and integrate into WHOLENESS.

Spiritual systems are just not setup to help anyone
with this stage, so people tend to hit it, feel completely
lost, alone and hopeless, so they re-swallow the blue
pill and go ‘back to the matrix’.

Again, this can all be easily understand in terms of CJ Jung.

One of the major things about Platonic Surrealism,
is that it helps one get past this most difficult of
stages.

Now ‘the ego’ doesn’t die.. but yes, the persona largely

does. Even the master himself, Jung, got things a little
wrong. But not very.
Platonic Surrealism provides tools, to splint between the old life and the new life,
to make it much easier to stabilize.

That’s a strength of PS.

Most systems ATTACK the ‘ego’ which then fights back brutally and subtly hides
(it’s entire purpose is survival, it is the best that there is at hiding and manipulating.

So DONT DO THAT!

That is where most people fail. Where most systems fail.

Put the ego to work! Make it 10,000 feet tall.

The EGO ITSELF IS ETERNAL.

Don’t confuse the ‘Cosmic Ego’ (or just ‘the ego’) with the persona masks we use.

That is the tragic mistake.
