Reaction: The Most Dangerous Form Of Meditation

Dr. G is one of the best hybrid science/meditation guys out there.

He doesn’t get into inner architecture at all.

But he’s right.

Meditation can be wonderful.

But I wouldn’t do over 20 minutes a day.

If you obsess about it, which is what tends to happen if you are in a lot of pain and just have to find the ‘anomalous’ or ‘liberation’ to
‘escape the pain and illusion’.

Or if you are autistic, you almost can’t help but obsess, if ‘spirituality’ is your primary obsession like it was for me.

It’s really a damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

If humans don’t find their ‘reboot’, we will be going extinct.

But if you dive down the bunny holes with too much vigor,

you will become a Phillip K. Dick or other person who explodes from pushing into ontological shock too quickly and too recklessly.

You nearly have to have an experienced teacher to not hurt yourself,

but in our modern cultures, those COMPETENT experienced teachers almost do not exist.
